Overview

Are you a clinical scientist, medical microbiologist, infectious diseases physician, or work in clinical and public health laboratories and want to learn about dealing with Bacterial Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) in the future?

This is the first of a three-part panel discussion series hosted by the Communicable Diseases Genomics Network (CDGN).

Learning outcomes

Key learning outcomes of the Bacterial STIs panel discussion session include:

  • To identify the challenges and utility of genomics in a public health setting for Bacterial STIs

  • Overview of the current landscape in national surveillance of Bacterial STIs

  • Understanding of current and emerging technologies for the application of Bacterial STIs
